             Hi foodies welcome to Kaviya's Kitchen blog my name is kaviya sivanandam. Today's recipe was Murungai keerai poriyal (Drumstick leaves). In scientific name its called Moringa Olifera. In drumstick leaves it contains many vitamins and minerals. Several antioxidants compound have been found in drumstick leaves.

Ingredients with picture:

1.Drumstick tree leaves   -  1/2 cup
2.Mustard                        -  1 tbsp
3.Ulutham parupu           -  1 tbsp
4.Onion                           -  1 
5.Red chilli                     -  4
6.Salt                              - to your taste
7.Fennel seeds                - 1 tbsp
8.Thuvaram parupu        - 1 tbsp
9.Grated coconut            - to your taste










       



                   
  

             


 



Method:

1. Remove drumstick leaves and chop it.
2.Wash gently with water.


3.In a pan add 1 tbsp of  oil,mustard,ulutham parupu,onion,red chilli,fennel seeds fry gently with ladle.

4.Add washed  Murungai keerai (Drumstick leaves)


5.Add grated coconut.







6.Add boil thuvaram parupu for tasty.
7.Add salt towards to your taste.



8.Yummy and delicious Murungai keerai poriyal (Drumstick leaves) is ready to serve with veg kuzhambu variety.
